THE STORY OF TIM AND FLORENTINE
The story of Tim and Florentine Ouborg. The brother and sister at the helm of Princess Traveller. They come from a large family, where they are the oldest two children in a family of five. They grew up with two more sisters and a brother. Entrepreneurship is in their blood. Their father, Aad Ouborg, is the founder of Princess Household Appliances, which grew into a globally known brand sold in over 75 countries. In 2009, he sold the household appliances branch of Princess. However, he retained the rights to the name for other activities, such as Princess Entertainment, Princess Hotel Collection and Princess Sport.

The founding of Princess Traveller
In 2011, Tim and Florentine founded Princess Sportsgear, their own hockey brand. Later that year, they also founded Princess Traveller. The Princess Traveller line is ideal for both business and recreational travellers. ‘We offer luxury, quality, reliability, exceptional marketing and product innovations, all at an affordable price,’ the brother and sister team explains. ‘In addition, we develop all the products, marketing activities and PR campaigns in-house!’

FD Gazellen Award
In 2014, the company won the “FD Gouden Gazellen Award” as the fastest growing company in the south of the Netherlands, and the second fastest growing company in the Netherlands as a whole. This prize was awarded by the Financieel Dagblad newspaper. ‘We regard this award as a fantastic compliment to our company and to ourselves. We’re very proud!’ Tim and Florentine gush.

Team NL Collection
Princess Traveller has been an official supplier of NOC*NSF since June 2015. The entire Olympic and Paralympic Dutch team will travel for 4 years with the orange Team NL suitcases and bags. The Team NL collection is also available at some store chains in the Netherlands. ‘This way, everyone can travel like a true top athlete!’

5-YEAR ANNIVERSARY
On September 23, 2016 Princess Traveller celebrated its fifth anniversary, during which Tim and Florentine Ouborg were honoured. Princess Traveller has grown into a successful international business and is now sold in over 30 countries. It has also received several awards and honours.
